PS2 SLIM for Christmas. Yep. Kingdom Hearts (winnage) and Soul Calibur 3, which is also as fun as hell when it comes to creating a character. Not only did I create some of my own characters (eg. Luanz and Saturn) but I also sucessfully made half of the Star Fox cast. And...
"KILLER TAMBOURINES OF D00M"
You'll only get that if you've ever created a dancer character.
ANYHOW, on with other stuff. Nightmare Before Christmas wins. No, I'm not one of those psychotic fans who get tatoos of the boxart on their backs. That's creepy. I like it because it's charming, original, and has a wonderful soundtrack, which I'm trying to snag from Heartz because my new MP3 downloader program says it's invalid in Canada. Fancy that.
TNBC isn't the only thing currently on my mind though. Alongside it is the newly-discovered-by-me crime show that goes by the name "Numb3rs". I love it. The whole math theme (ironically, I don't like math very much at all) is a relieving, original break from the "mainstream" crime stuff. For example, the people from CSI seem to have been bitten by radioactive fingerprinting ink and are now superhero-class forensic people. Huh. The characterization is great too with the exception of Amita. I can't stand characters who's boobs are always half hanging out of their shirts/dresses.
And I had a major WTF attack when I realized that David Krumholtz was one of the lead characters, because I had JUST finished watching The Santa Clause, in which he plays Bernard the elf, and even before THAT I'd watched Serentity...he had a minor role in that, but whatever.
Back to school in six days...argh...good things never last. Ah well, guess I'll have to make the most of it until Spring Break ;)
